This pasta sauce is creamy, but it has a sourish note to it (but not the type of sourish spoilt note). Not my favourite cream base sauce to go to because of the sour note.

Easy to use and the end results are a tasty pasta with a creamy mushroom flavour. I usually pair it with extra chopped mushrooms, onions, some bacon, and cheese for good measure!

If you do not want to create your own pasta sauce, this is sufficient enough. However, I add in more ingredients such as cheese and milk to make it more flavourful. This itself may taste a bit like campbell soup.

I love prego carbonara mushroom pasta sauce. But somehow the can ones tastes more yummy then the glass bottled ones. No idea why though.
