MY HOLY GRAIL!!

BEFORE: As I have dry, dehydrated, and sensitive skin, my lips are normally chapped or wounded due to brittleness. I have constantly struggled finding the right product. I tried from big brands such as Laneige and Burt's Bees, but none of them did wonders for my lips as compared to Vaseline Lip Therapy! DURING: Upon application, the product feels really silky and smooth on my lips. Sometimes, when I talk or eat, I taste some of the product and it doesn't taste 'icky' (iykyk). The only downside is you have to keep on reapplying the product whenever it gets smudged. AFTER: My lips never felt so healthy and moisturized after devotedly applying this product on my lips. I usually wake up with dry and chapped slips, but NOT ANYMORE! VERDICT: Overall, I would recommend this if you're willing to put in the dedication of reapplying this consistently 3-4 times a day every single day!

Recently, I developed lip dermatitis. My lips are so dry, chapped, and scaly. Sometimes, the skin around my lips are itchy, and scales, too. It came to a point when it is so hard for me to open my mouth to eat, to talk, and to even laugh hard. It was so frustrating. I have used Nivea Lip Balm, Vaseline Lip Balm Original Stick, and Burt's Bees, but they never really healed my lips in long-term. The symptoms would eventually come back. So, when I went to the drugstore, I decided to give this product a shot. And it's the best decision I ever made in my life! After a few minutes of applying Vaseline Lip Therapy Petroleum Jelly Cocoa Butter on my lips, the scaling soften, the lips began to feel elastic, and the moisture came back. My lips was dark before, now its coming back to its pink color, and my lips looks plump and healthy! I also apply this product as an eye cream. I put it under my eyes to get rid of dullness, dryness, and fine lines under my eyes.

Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3 out of 5 stars) Hey, fellow teens! Today, I want to share my thoughts on the Lip Therapy Petroleum Jelly in Cocoa Butter Brown. Now, I've got mixed feelings about this lip product, so let's dive right into it! Starting with the positives, I absolutely adore the cocoa butter scent. It's warm, comforting, and reminds me of delicious chocolate. The scent lingers on my lips for a while, which is a nice little pick-me-up throughout the day. If you're a fan of cocoa butter fragrances, you'll definitely enjoy this aspect. When it comes to moisturizing, this lip therapy does an okay job. It feels smooth and hydrating upon application, providing a temporary relief for dry lips. However, I've noticed that the moisturizing effect doesn't last very long. After an hour or so, my lips start to feel dry again, and I find myself reapplying frequently. Now, let's talk about the color. The Cocoa Butter Brown shade adds a subtle tint to the lips, giving them a natural and slightly deeper hue. It's perfect for those low-key makeup days when you want a touch of color without going overboard. However, I must mention that the color payoff is quite sheer, so don't expect intense pigmentation. One downside I have to mention is the packaging. The Lip Therapy comes in a small tub, and while it's convenient for applying the product with your fingers, it can be a bit unhygienic and messy. I would have preferred a tube or a stick format for easier application on the go. Lastly, this lip therapy contains petroleum jelly as its main ingredient. While it does a decent job of locking in moisture, some people may prefer more natural or plant-based alternatives. It's important to consider your personal preferences and any potential sensitivities before using petroleum-based products. In summary, the Lip Therapy Petroleum Jelly in Cocoa Butter Brown has its pros and cons. The cocoa butter scent is lovely, and the subtle tint adds a nice touch of color. However, the moisturizing effect doesn't last long, and the packaging could be more user-friendly. If you're looking for a basic lip balm with a hint of color and a comforting fragrance, this might be worth a try. But if you're in need of longer-lasting hydration or prefer more natural ingredients, you might want to explore other options.

My 2 favorite things about this is that it is moisturizing enough for my dry and chapped lips and the scent is so good. Also, it's easy to put in your makeup pouch. Really good for everyday use.
