Dear Klairs KLAIRS Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil

I actually used the sample version of this product and let me tell you, it was very amazing on my skin. I can still remember how much it cleansed my face from all the makeup I had that I always had a hard time cleaning using a micellar water. After cleansing with it, I felt my face so soft and that made me so so happy. The product was a little expensive tho but then again, it was worth it.

Packaging. Comes in a plastic bottle with a pump. Texture. This cleansing oil is still on the lightweight side but definitely thicker than the fresh cleansing oil. It comes out clear and spreads well. It also emulsifies with a little bit of water. How to use. I use Klairs cleansing oil as my first cleanser at night. I dispense 2 full pumps of product into my dry hands and gently massage all over my dry face. After about a minute, I rinse with lukewarm water. Before and After. Unlike the fresh cleansing oil, I feel like I’m getting a deeper clean with this oil. My skin also feels soft and smooth after cleansing. No dryness or tightness at all. I haven’t had any bad reaction to this oil cleanser either. I’ve been using it every night for almost a month. Final verdict: If you’re the right skin type though, this Klairs cleansing oil might work for you. It’s a beloved product with many glowing reviews. As always, remember that every person’s skin and skin type is different so what might work for me might not work for you, and vice versa. Have a happy skin experimenting!

Provides gentle deep cleansing without irritating the most sensitive skin. My Review: This cleansing oil from Klairs has a lightweight texture and a nice subtle scent. This is my first time using cleansing oil and I love how it cleanses my face and doesn’t leave my skin greasy. I have acne-prone and sensitive skin and I didn’t experience any irritation while using this. I also love that it is cruelty-free and vegan-friendly.

Pros: The cleansing oil was fragrance-free and only had a slight scent to it that was not unpleasant. The scent is lightly reminiscent of olive oil, but not as overpowering. It was easy on my oily skin type and did not give me any breakouts or irritation. The packaging is very pleasing and has a sleek design. The pump works well and the straw continues to the bottom of the bottle (definitely not going to let a drop go to waste). I think it did a fair job with removing sunscreen and impurities. The texture is very light and silky, it does not irritate the skin, nor leave behind an oily residue after washing. Cons: In order for me to fully cover my face and get full emersion, I need to use two pumps each time I wash. In about 1.5 weeks I have used up 1/4 of the bottle. I would need to replace the cleanser after 1 month with this kind of usage.

As a first time user, I have high expectations since this is not cheap but then... I am impressed. I also bought the toner along with it. I've been using this for almost a month now and I can feel the results. It has a calming fragrance and it won't spill because it has a cute lock. It is also easy to use and I guess it can last for the next 3 months since (for me) 1 pump is enough.
