Aveda Damage Remedy™ Intensive Restructuring Treatment

With the promise of delivering naturally derived products whenever possible comes Aveda’s Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment. Some hair treatment products tend to end up lightening dyed hair or even stripping the colour prematurely causing your once beautiful hair to loose its colour. How did this product fare? Firstly, application was on hair which is both permed and coloured as the chemicals on the hair resulted in much dryness and frizziness. Soon after beginning application, we already felt that the product was working its magic leaving our hair smooth and fizz free. In the longer term, unlike other hair treatments, it did cause some of the hair colour to run but not as much as other brands we have tried. However, if you are one who wishes to leave the bathroom smelling like a perfume shop, then you might have to think twice. Unlike brands such as Victoria’s Secret, this product seems to be a little light on scent. But then again, given the natural origins of the product, its probably self-explanatory.
