My walls looked dreadful after the concealed pipes leaked and caused mould and bubbling to the surface. I have no painting experience, but took the leap of faith to do some simple plastering and then just slapped on the paint. It didn't matter whichever direction I rolled the brush as the paint just glided on. The only thing was that halfway through, there were some bubbles when I rolled with the brush, but they seemingly disappeared after. The paint didn't have an unpleasant odour at all. You can see the end result fresh after painting. If a noob like me can do it, I'm sure anyone can!
