BEIJING 101 Meridian Hair Growth Treatment

A week after trying Beijing 101’s Meridian Scalp Treatment, the results exceeded my expectations. My scalp feels refreshed and less oily throughout the day. The whole treatment process was very invigorating and the place was well maintained and staffed with a professional team. They use a lot of modern technologies to analyse the issues of my scalp to address the root of the problem and incorporated a lot of herbal and traditional Chinese elements to ensure my scalp was in tip top condition. My scalp and hair are definitely more refreshed and rejuvenated after the treatment, the results speak for themselves and I am keen to go back for a second session.

Try&review’s staff booked an appointment @ Nex for me and the outlet was bright & clean (seems like it hasn’t been renovated in a while though) Beijing101’s staff told me what to expect before beginning with a hair analysis. We settled down in another room for the scalp treatment, my favorite part being the massage & hair wash as usual The products/equipment used seem high-tech- except for the hair curler used to style my hair before leaving the treatment room; it was pulling on my hair quite a bit The session ended with another hair analysis and i can see instantly the difference on the screen. Will prolly need a few more sessions to see hair growth!

Spent a pampering afternoon improving my scalp and hair health with this experience from Beijing 101. With the focus on Meridian points, it was a relaxing experience with professional consultants explaining how each step of the process targeted my scalp issues.

Visited Beijing 101 (Bedok Mall) and tried their Meridian Hair Growth treatment and let me tell you if it’s worth $600+ (now got promo only $50+). I visited the outlet at 12pm on a Tuesday and it wasn’t crowded. It felt nice and quiet and there wasn’t much background hair dryer or loud chit chat noises. Went to the consultation room and I was presented with a cup of tea and hand towels. During consultation, I was asked questions to understand my hair situation more. Eg: what’s your main concern, does your scalp feel itchy, is there bumps or pimple on your head etc. We proceeded to scanning my scalp to have a closer look of it. Kent, my consultant took the time to pause and explain to me my scalp situation. Sebums and dead skins can be seen clearly and he even spotted a scar on the back of my head (which I probably gotten it when I was a baby cause I don’t recall). After that we went straight to the Scalp Purification Treatment, it’s basically like a makeup remover process to cleanse the scalp. Next I was ushered to give my hair a good wash. It wasn’t the usual hair wash you get at salons. They incorporated principles of meridian points to promote scalp health. After that it was time to use the machine! The Medi Air Jet is paired with the tonic specifically customised to your hair needs. This machine uses high pressure air to penetrate the tonic into your scalp, ensuring maximum absorption of the product. It’s definitely non invasive and pain free but the gushes of air definitely tickles. Before the Alpha Hair Beam “helmet” was put on, there was another scalp massage. This time the massage targeted more on loosening the nodules and relieving headaches. It’s meant to help increase blood flow in the head and aid hair growth. The point the pressed on were definitely very soothing and effective. The Alpha Hair Beam or “helmet” was the last step of the treatment. It was left on for about 5-10min. The light is supposed to penetrate deep into your scalp and promote hair growth. Lastly, we went back into the consultation room to look at my “after” scalp. It is visually much cleaner and the oils and sebum were generally lesser compared to when I first scanned. I have quite a lot of hair and hair loss wasn’t my main concern so I can’t quite tell if it aids hair growth from just 1 session. But I am a heavy user of hair spray and I can see that my hair has had a good cleanse and reset. I now know that my hair follicle and pores are less clogged. The good thing about Beijing 101 is that they use Chinese medicine and it should be less harmful than conventional chemical products. That being said, there wasn’t any strong Chinese herbs smell on my head 👍🏻 didn’t want to walk around smelling like a TCM shop. However if you ask me if it is worth my $600+, i wouldn’t agree. Treatments like this requires constant usage and upkeeping. Maintaining a membership or being a regular there does burn a hole in your pocket in the long run (in my opinion as a 28year old). Despite that being said, I understand that a lot of people are facing with hair loss issues and are willing to pay a sum of money to get it better.
