Fresh Sugar Face Polish

Overall - 3/5 (Skin do feel refreshed & clean, but I do not like the aggressive texture) Smell - 5/5 (Have a pleasant lemon smell) Texture - 2/5 (Felt like it's way too harsh even for an exfoliator) Price - 3/5 (Though I got it as a sample, I won't pay SGD 55 for a full size tub either) Heard a lot about this face mask and was quite excited to try it out! When I first placed it on the back on my hand, the sugar bits in the face polish felt coarse and rather big. The product smelled amazing, like a sweet lemon, but it was not particularly strong. When applied, I could feel the coarse surface rubbing against my skin even though I was being gentle. Since the instructions was to massage gently, I did as told, but do not feel like it's exfoliating my skin. It felt more like I'm rubbing the coarse sugar against my skin and it was a little quite an unpleasant feeling. After gently massaging for less than a minute, I left it on for about 8 minutes and went to wash off. It took a while to completely wash off the product but after patting dry my face, my skin did felt cleanse and refreshed. I would not purchase it personally as I believe that there are better exfoliating products out there that those a good job and, at the same time, is gentle on the skin. If you have sensitive skin or dry skin, would definitely recommend you to avoid this product or use it less frequently! (:
