Very convenient and thaws quickly. I took it out from the freezer and after a few minutes of stir frying it was already ready-to-eat! Very salty and strong black pepper taste which is good. The salty part can be easily solved since the seasoning is on the shells so just use a spoon to push out the edamame beans instead of biting the shell directly! Good texture, taste and convenient.

The edamame can be cooked in a microwave and is easily removed from the pods. It tastes delicious on its own as a snack or as part of a meal. Useful to have a packet in your freezer for a topup to meals.

Though frozen but the edamame tastes so good that I finished the whole packet in 1 serving. All I had to do is to put it in the steamer. It tastes surprisingly fresh and the black pepper level was just right for my liking.
