I tend to avoid squeezing or touching my pimples, but to let them mature and disappear naturally, so this serum is very much in line with my patient attitude. I usually apply it as soon as the pimple starts to grow (red and painful) and keep applying it until the size becomes smaller and only the red marks are left. The texture is a little bit like a clear and thin gel, and the way I use it is to wash my face and apply it thickly on the pimple areas before using other skincare products. It is definitely not a miracle product that works immediately, nor does it reveal whiteheads overnight. It is relatively gentle (does not contain any alcohol), and usually flattens the acne in about 3-4 days. In the end this will heal the acne completely and is unlikely to leave scars or enlarge the pores.
